As GSA’s fourth generation 8(a) GWAC, STARS III is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity (MA-ID/IQ) contract designed to provide federal agencies with innovative IT services-based solutions from vetted 8(a) small, disadvantaged businesses, in support of meeting their socioeconomic contracting goals.
The 8(a) STARS III GWAC is designated a Best-In-Class contract vehicle. With a ceiling of $50 Billion and a five-year base period, 8(a) STARS III builds upon the framework of 8(a) STARS II. 8(a) STARS III includes capabilities for emerging technologies, helps federal agencies accomplish information technology (IT) missions, and accommodates OCONUS requirements.
